Flyers Track Clubs hosted Day Two of the latest Bermuda National Athletics Associations Carifta Trials Track Meet at the National Sports Center.
Johndell Cumberbatch became the latest athlete to meet the Carifta Games Qualifying Standard when he put on an impressive final 400 meters during the Under 18 Boys 3000m run clocking a time of 9:42.78 meeting the Standard time of 9:45.00.
There were more near misses as Clevonte Lodge was cocked at 23.22 during the Under 18 Boys 200m Dash with the Qualifying mark at 22.52, Nirobi Mills clocked 2:06.20 on his way to winning the Under 18 Boys 800m, he is just off the Qualifying Standard mark of 2:03.00.
Isiah Bell-Phillips clocked a Under 20 Boys 800m time of 2:02.91, with the Standard set at 1:55.50.
