Bermuda Olympian Tyrone Smith who competed in France last week was back in action this time taking part in the IAAF Diamond League London Anniversary Games.
Smith finished 5th with a time leap of 7.78m, which came on his second attempt, Smith leaped 7.75m on his first attempt before recording a leap of 7.68m on his third attempt.
Gao Xinglong from China recorded tehwin with a leap of 8.11m, Damar Forbes from Jamaica finished second leaping 8.03m and Michael Hartfield finished third witha leap of 8.01m.
A frustrated Smith said via his Social Media Page, "I'm willing to wager my R8 that the video measurement was off. Meet claims the indicator was off for 2nd round, I jumped around celebrating what I felt was a PR. Felt like a huge jump I'm so frustrated."
