The British Virgin Islands (BVI) will host the Caribbean Union of Teachers` Biennial Track and Field Championships (CUT) on July 15th to 16th, for the second time at the A. O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.
Bermuda will be represented by 28 athletes.
This unique Caribbean athletic event is expected to bring more than 500 persons to the Territory, and is aimed at getting the region’s students together for friendly competition, comradeship and the promotion of Caribbean unity.
The Bermuda team will be led by Head of Delegation Angela Edwards, along with coaches Kerry Maxwell, Florence Sharpe-Trott and DeVoe Whaley.
During the last games, Za’Kayza Parsons returned with a Medal, she along with the likes of Selah Tuzo, I’Arua Golding and Akino Darrell will be looking to return with silverware.
