The controversy of having four players denied the opportunity to play continues as Bermuda took to the court for game five of the FIBA AmeriCup 2021 Caribbean Pre- Qualifiers in Paramaribo, Suriname.
Bermuda was once again forced to play with just six players dressed.
Bermuda took on St. Vincent and the Grenadines going down 76 – 62.
Bermuda were down by 2 at the end of the first period 16-14, St. Vincent and the Grenadines would then out score Bermuda 20-10 in the second period to go to the break leading 36 – 24.
Both teams would score 18 points in the third period, to go into the final period with the score 54 – 42, St. Vincent and the Grenadines would outscore Bermuda 22-20 in the final period.
Bermuda was once again led by Chris Crumpler who scored 28 points, Jason Lowe added 18 and Yusef Riley scored 13 points.
