Cydnee Todd and her Thomas College Women's Basketball teammates extended their winning streak to three games in a 70-46 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.
Thomas College improve to 4-5 on the season while the University of Farmington fall to 3-5.
The University of Maine at Farmington offense struggled throughout the contest as Thomas College held them to just four points in the opening ten minutes. As a team, the University of Maine at Farmington finished 13-for-65 (20%) from the floor and 6-for-23 behind the arch.
Thomas College ended with a strong 42.6 field goal percentage (29-68) and out rebounded the University of Maine at Farmington 55-39.
Junior Molly Carroll led all scorers with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting along with three rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Karli Stubbs chipped in with a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds while Jordan Turner also added 12 points in the win. Abby Nielsen added eight points including a pair of threes.
Todd finished the game with 2 points in 3 minutes of action going 1 – 1 from the Field, she also had 1 Rebound and 1 Blocked Shot.
Morgan Crocker led the University of Maine at Farmington as she finished with 16 points on 3-of-19 from the floor with one three and nine free throws. Freshman Kasey Talarico finished the game with nine points after shooting 50% from the floor with two threes.
