Bermuda Fall in Game Tow in Dominican Republic

IslandStats.com
Bermuda National Basketball team have gone down in their second match in the Dominican Republic.

Bermuda coached by Gavin MacKenzie took on Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), who are the College/University Champions falling 89 - 66.

The game saw a very competitive 1st quarter with an extremely fit, disciplined and talented PUCMM.

However, early in the second quarter their aggressive zone frustrated the Bermuda offense and they struggled to run their offensive sets, let alone score.

Bermuda’s defense continued to struggle and let PUCMM penetrate down the middle.

PUCMM jumped to an early 16 point lead, eventually Bermuda settled down and moved the ball around on offense.

Bermuda was able to cut the lead to 11 before the end of the half.

The second half was very similar to the second half of game 1, Bermuda played poor transition defense and that killed Bermuda in the open court.

Offensively again Bermuda didn't move the ball enough to make their defense shift, couple that with poor outside shooting.

Bermuda found points were hard to come by, the effort was consistent but Bermuda lacked execution and paid the price.
