The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Elite City League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a double-header that produced 283 points on the night.
In the opener the Hoopstars edged the Flyboys 68 - 67, the Flyboys held a 36-34 lead at the half time interval after getting 12 points from Akil Smith, while Calvert Lee had 9 points at the break for the Hoopstars. Lee finished the game with a game high 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots, while Dion Easton scored 18 points for the Flyboys
, he also grabbed 13 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.
The International Ballers were in control of this game from start to finish holding a 38-23 lead at the halftime break over the Redraiders. Dean Jones had 9 first half points for the International Ballers, while Jojo Perez had 9 points for the Redraiders.
The International Ballers would go on to win 90-58, with Jones leading the way with a game high 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots, while Perez scored 17 points, he had 5 rebounds, 2 assist and 1 blocked shot.
