The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Elite City League got underway inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a double-header that produced 236 points on the night.
The opening game of the season saw the Twisters come from behind to defeat Crossfire 64-54, Omari Dill Pettiford scored a game high 36 points to lead the Twisters to victory, while Kevin Stephens scored 23 points for Crossfire.
Game two saw the Thundercats hand Sky Force a 71 - 47 defeat, Mykal Glasgow scored a game high 15 points to lead the Thundercats, while Kameron James scored 12 points for the Sky Force.
