Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University Men's Cross Country teammates, in collaboration with Alexander High School, hosted the Asics Cross Country Invitational finishing 10th.
Leading the charge for the men's team was Camron Gaddis, who finished in 62nd place with a final time of 28:03.43. Following close behind was Rakiem Barnes, Kharyri Davis and Darryl Jefferson, who finished 76th, 77th and 78th place, respectively. Barnes ran his race in 28:34.23 while Davis ran his 8k in 28:37.06, and Jefferson crossed the finish line in 28:45.99. Smith rounded out the top 100 finishers for Clayton State as he ran in 29:45.89. Smith finished in 90th place.
