Alizadeh finished 30 seconds behind the Heat Winner Trevor Jones from Canada, with Mindaugas Griskonis from Lithuania in second and Onat Kazakli from Turkey finished third.
Alizadeh got off to a fantastic start, but at stages in the race, Alizadeh decided to save some for the Repechage as the front three extended their lead.
