The Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) has announced the primary, middle and high school male and female teams that have qualified for the Bermuda Invitational Permit Meet on Friday, May 11th.
BNAA President Donna Raynor said, “Based on the finals of the Relay Classic that were held this past Friday, the BNAA are pleased to announce the primary, middle and high school male and female teams who have qualified for the Bermuda Invitational Permit Meet this coming Friday, May 11th.
“We are looking forward to this event as these relays really get the crowd going and the international athletes love watching our youth compete at the same event as them. It gives us all hope that the sport will continue and stay alive. Relays are always exciting especially when they represent their schools for that school pride of being the best of the best. We hope to see the mascots from the schools out there cheering on their school teams as well.
“With this event being streamed live this will give our school children some exposure to the world and a great opportunity to show their talents.
“Watching Olympians, our own elite athletes, and the upcoming youth of Bermuda compete, will be 2 1/2 hours of nonstop excitement for our fans.”
