This is a big month for Quality Gymnastics as members of the organization are competing in two Gymnastics Meets this month.
Firstly members will represent Bermuda this weekend, March 10th & 11th, at the Crystal Springs Invitational Meet in New Jersey, USA.
The Bermuda International team are girls between the ages of 8 – 12 years that will feature Kayla Calverley, Alana Braxton, Celeste Candiolo, Gloria Candiolo, Kateri Zuill, Blake Boden, Sean Lawrence, and Avani Patton.
The following weekend, March 17th & 18th, the team will be competing at the Bermuda International Gymnastics Challenge hosted by BGA (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) at the National Training Centre, Southside Road, St. David’s.
This will be the first time in Bermuda’s history where two local gymnastics clubs will be competing against each other in various USAIGC and USAG levels.
The Quality local team are girls between the ages of 8 – 12 years, include Alyssa Andrews, Ella Belford, Kayla Calverley, Alexandra Daniel, Ajana Patton, Alana Braxton, Celeste Candiolo, Gloria Candiolo, Kateri Zuill, Blake Boden, Sean Lawrence, Avani Patton, Kenya Robinson, and Isabella Stowe.
Peter James, President of Quality Gymnastics said, “We are very excited to be apart of this milestone in Gymnastics with this being the first time two local Gymnastics clubs are competing against one another”.
“Our gymnasts have been working hard over the past year. I’m impressed with their growth and improvement in their skill levels within the year; now having the ability to compete both locally and internationally,” said Anna Balada, Head Coach of Quality Gymnastics.
