Youngster Robert Edwards won the XL Catlin Man on the Run 5K Run and Walk which started and ended at the Warwick Academy.
Organizers and sponsors were pleased with the turn out of the All Male Race that saw 261 competitors cross the line.
Edwards was clocked across the line in a time of 17:45, he finished six seconds ahead of Tim Price who was clocked at 17:51, with Winter Olympic hopeful Tucker Murphy finished third clocking 18:07.
Tommy Marshall was 4th after stopping the clock in a time of 18:13, finishing 5th was Dennis Mbelenzi who clocked 18:37, with Jake Brislane 6th after clocking 18:42.
Maritz Theron crossed the line 7th overall with a time of 18:42, Sam Boaden was 8th clocking 18:49, while Omari Hart 9th after recording a time of 19:04 and Jason Williams rounded out the top 10 finishers with a time of 19:31.
