Juma Mouchette and his Virginia State University Men’s Cross Country teammates secured the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Cross Country Championship Title under the direction of Head Coach Wilbert Johnson.
Mouchette and his teammates had a combined time of 2:26:39 to finish with 39 points, with Virginia Union finishing second with 84 points.
Mouchette was the 8th runner to cross the line stopping the clock in a time of 29:39, he was the third Virginia State University runner to cross the line.
