The Bermuda National Athletic Association's 2016 Cross Country's season got underway with the Chaplin Bay race hosted by the West End Athletic Club.
Chayce Smith won the Men's Open Division race covering the 4.3 mile distance in a time of 40:00.36, with Chefton Hall finishing second in 49:32.13.
Victoria Fiddick won the Senior Women's Masters Division which covered a distance of 3.6 miles clocking a time of 34:37.29, while Mairi Redmond finished second in 37:02.11 and Jenie Kelly finished third in 41:08.28.
Quincy Kuzyk's time of 27:28.16 saw him run to victory in the 3.6 mile Men's 14-16 Age Group Division, Max De Ste Croix was second in28:09.44 and Iziah Tucker was third in 29:34.53.
During the 12-13 Girls Age Group Division that covered 2.4 miles Jade Johnston clocked a winning time of 21:10.30, Jezhari Talbot was second in 21:19.13 and Princess-Aryana Gibbons was third in 22:33.52.
