Juma Mouchette representing Virginia State University finished 6th in the Panther Classic Cross Country Meet, at Bryan Park in Richmond, Va.
Host Virginia Union University's (VUU) Men's Cross-Country team recorded its first perfect score of the season by capturing the top five spots.
VUU won the meet with 15 total team points while Chowan University placed second with 63 points. Elizabeth City State University was third with 65 points and Virginia State University was fourth with 77 points.
Mouchette led his school crossing the line in a time of 31:25.50.
