Jyire Mitchell competed in two classes in the Loretta Lynn’s National Motocross Championship at Hurricane Mills, in Tennessee.
During the 250 Pro Sports Class, Mitchell finished 8th overall, this after he finished 22nd in the first race, he then finished 6th in the second race, before closing out finishing 7th in the third race.
Mitchell would also compete in the Open Pro Sports Class finishing 6th overall. In the first race Mitchell finished 13th, he would then finish 5th in the second race and the 4th in the third and final race.
Mitchell said, “I had bad gate picks and going down in both first races in the classes cost me a good overall, but I rode better as the event went on.”
