Despite the day's rainy conditions, the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club didn't let the weather dampen the day's events and continued their summer series with the second race day of the season.
New youth racer, Alex Blakeney, joined the circuit as part of the Minibike Class while popular scooter racer, Nasaje Anderson, made an anticipated return to the track with the Scooter 70s.
Thirteen year old Sheun Simmons made his big debut moving up from the Minibike to the Formula Class on his new Pitsterpro 160cc pit bike. Simmons is expected to be the youngest racer in this class for the season.
Jason Pacheco ran two strong heats in the Scooter 4T Class, ultimately suffering a split engine during the third heat, pulling him off for the remainder of the day. In the end, Edward Cook, Kymaree Pitt and Sheun Simmons each made a clean sweep of their respective classes while Ricky Wade took one first and Nasaje Anderson took the final two firsts in the Scooter 70 Class.
The next BMRC race day is June 24th and will be a trophy day sponsored by Wett & Wild Water Service.
