Six races down and Benn Smith has fallen two more places as he continued competing in the 47th edition of the Youth Sailing World Championships going on in China.
More than 380 sailors from 62 nations will be competing on Chinese waters.
Smith is competing in the Laser Radial Fleet among 50 other competitors.
At the conclusion of Day Three Smith finds himself in 40th place and now has 161 Net Points.
Smith recorded his best finish of the Regatta during the first race of the Day and the fifth of the Series crossing the line in 22nd, he would follow that up with a 44th place finish in the second and final race of the day.
