The third day of racing presented sailors with scorching weather, rising to 35˚ C. Luckily, a strong breeze cooled those on the water and provided ideal racing conditions. With no delays today, boats were on the water by noon, and the first start was 1 pm as scheduled.
The 3rd day of the 2022 Arkas World Championship was Qualification Race day.
All Sailors completed two races today, allowing sailors to strike out their worst race. Now counting 5 of 6 races, the leaderboards have shifted slightly.
Ethan Thompson continued to lead the Bermuda contingent with 42 points and is in 22nd overall.
Sarah Davis currently sits 101st overall with 117 points, while Miguel Power is 141st overall with 157 points.
Trystan Hocking is holding the 173rd position overall with 190 points, and Sophia Dias is in 207th with 227 points.
