Four Bermuda sailors continued competing in the 2019 Optimist European Championship in Crozon-Morgat, France.
PJ Rodrigues, Amelia Lewis Rachael Betscart, and Ava Rosser are flying the Bermuda Flag during the event.
In the Boy’s Division that has 176 sailors, Rodrigues fell is now in 160th after two more races on the day to take the Regatta total to 7 races sailed, Rodrigues finished the first race of the day in 45th, he then was ruled Black Flagged on the Course side, he has 220 Net Points.
With 117 Girls on the water, Lewis continues to lead the Bermuda Fleet with 137 Net Points, this after finishes of 39th, and 18th, she is in 67th place, Betschart 82nd with 177 Net Points, she crossed the line 25th in the first race, before closing out with a 24th place finish in the third race.
Rosser is 113th with 248 Net Points, she started with a 48th place finish in the first race, she was Black Flagged in the second race.
