Lewis Cooper helped St. Mary’s College of Maryland finish 2nd competing in the Team Race Challenge hosted by Cornell.
The In-Conference Regatta sailed in 420 boats, saw Cooper and his teammates finish with a record of 14 wins and 3 defeats.
In Round One St. Mary’s College of Maryland defeated Pennsylvania, NY Maritime, Christopher New Port, Stevens and Villanova, while falling to Cornell and Kings Point.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would go undefeated in Round 2 avenging the defeats to Cornell and Kings Port.
In the Final Round St. Mary’s College of Maryland defeated Kings Port and Pennsylvania, but they fell to Cornell.
