Mackenzie Cooper and his St. Mary’s College of Maryland Sailing teammates finished 5th competing in the Captain Prosser Trophy which serves as the MAISA Team Race Conference Championship and National Championship Qualifier.
In Round One action, St. Mary’s College of Maryland would fall to the U.S. Naval Academy in their opener, they would then fall to Georgetown University.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would pick up their first win when they defeated Old Dominion, but they would fall to Hobart and William Smith Colleges, they would also fall to George Washington University.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would fall to Cornell University and then they would close out the round defeating SUNY Maritime College.
In Round Two St. Mary’s College of Maryland defeated the U.S. Naval Academy, but again they would then fall to Georgetown University.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would pick up their second win over Old Dominion, but they would fall to Hobart and William Smith Colleges again.
They would also fall to George Washington University for a second time, before falling to Cornell University again and then they would close out the round defeating SUNY Maritime College.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would pick up their second win over the U.S. Naval Academy to start off Round Three, but again they would then fall to Georgetown University.
St. Mary’s College of Maryland would continue to have Old Dominion’s number with another win, they would finally defeat Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
They would fall to Cornell University for a third time, and they would fall to Georgetown University, they would close out with a win over SUNY Maritime College.
