Mackenzie Cooper was back in action representing St. Mary’s College of Maryland during the Bob Bavier Interconference Regatta Team Race.
Cooper and St. Mary's St. Mary's College of Maryland finished 4th with a record of 11 wins and 8 defeats.
Cooper and his teammates got off to a bad start with defeats against Georgetown University and Eckerd College, they would be 0&3 after they were defeated by the College of Charleston, but they would finally get on the board defeating the university of Wisconsin.
A win against the University of South Florida and Yale University leveled their record at 3&3, Cooper and his teammates would next fall to Roger Williams University to fall to 3&4, before levelling their score at 4&4 at the end of the First Round defeating Jacksonville University.
In the Second Round they would once again fall to Georgetown University, but a victory over Eckerd would pull them level yet again this time at 5&5, a second defeat to the College of Charleston would set them back again, but a victory over the University of Wisconsin would make them 6&6.
Cooper and his teammates would defeat the University of South Florida to move their record to 7&6, but Yale would defeat them as they had a record of 7&7, a win over Roger Williams University and a defeat by Jacksonville University saw them finish Round Two with an 8&8 record.
Cooper and his teammates would win their three matches in the Sail-off they defeated Jacksonville University, the University of South Florida and Eckerd College.
