Rockal Evans competed in the Sail Melbourne Regatta on the Australian waters.
Competing in the Finn Class, Evans finished 9th out of 18 boats, due to weather Evans and the rest of the Fleet could only complete six races.
He finished with 44 Net Points, Evans best two finishes came in the first two races of the event when he crossed the line 7th, Evans would finish 10th and 14th in races three and four, before closing out with finishes of 9th and 11th.
Speaking with www.islandstats.com following the conclusion of the Regatta Evans said, “The conditions where challenging, shifty and a bit random at times.”
Evans went on to say, “I am feeling stronger in the boat and recovery on the body is faster so I know I’m getting fitter.”
“I still need to work on my downwind pumping technique and race tactics for the race conditions,” concluded Evans.
