The 2017 Opel Finn Gold Cup opened with two very tricky races in winds from 10-17 knots.
117 sailors including Bermuda’s Rockal Evans took to the waters of Hungary.
Ed Wright dominated the first race while Nenad Bugarin won the second after taking the lead on the second upwind. Bugarin leads overall from Zsombor Berecz and Piotr Kula, though protests are pending.
Evans ended the day in 66th overall, with 131 points.
Evans finished the first race in 63rd, before finishing 68th in the second race.
