Bermuda sailors now take the spotlight as the 2017 Optimist North American Championships got underway in Canada.
The event is being hosted at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club.
Two races were sailed on the opening day with Rian Geraghty-McDonnell leading the Bermuda Fleet in 22nd place with 25 Net Points, having finished the first two races 12th and 13th.
Sebastian Kempe is in 58th with 46 Net Points, Ahzai Smith finds himself in 73rd place with 56 points, also on the same amount of points is Aiden Lopes who holds the 74th place spot.
Christian Ebbin is currently in 111th place with 70 Net Points, while Magnus Ringsted is in 119th with 74 Net Points.
Leyli Walker is in 127th place with 77 Net Points, Laura Hupman is in 148th with 91 Net Points and Thomas Evans rounds out the Bermuda sailors in 169th place with 103 Net Points.
