Bermuda’s Rockal Evans did not get the start he was looking for as Day One of the World Sailing's 2017 World Cup Series got underway in Miami.
Evans is competing in the Men’s Finn Class among 25 other sailors.
After two races sailed on Day One Evans currently sits in 20th with 34 points.
Evans finished 17th in Race One and 17th in Race Two,
Alican Kaynar from Turkey is the leader after the first day with 3 points, Jorge Zarif from Brazil is in second with 5 points and Ben Cornish from Great Britain is third also with 5 points.
