The Executive Council of the Bermuda Football Association is pleased to announce that CONCACAF will host the first in a series of regional Executive Leadership Forums in Bermuda on Friday, January 18th and Saturday, 19th, 2019.
The objective of such forums is to bring together a small number of National Association Presidents and General Secretaries to discuss various topics related to governance, good-practices, administration and leadership. Most importantly, such forums will give the opportunity for Presidents and General Secretaries to share their vast experiences among each other in order to give a true “practical” learning experience. The idea is not to have only “theory” based sessions but to allow for a more interactive exchange of thoughts and concepts while discussing topics relating to the governance and leadership development of football in our respective National Associations and throughout region generally.
Presidents and General Secretaries from the Bahamas Football Association, Jamaica Football Federation, Turks and Caicos Football Association and US Virgin Islands Football Association will join with BFA President and General Secretary along with The President of CONCACAF Victor Montagliani and other CONCACAF officials as well as delegates representing UEFA in this Leadership Forum.
In addition to this gathering of regional football leaders the BFA Executive Council has invited the CONCACAF delegates along with other special guests to join with them at a dinner to recognize the Bermuda Football Association’s ninety (90) years of administering football in Bermuda.
BFA President Mark Wade said he is “humbled and feels very honored that CONCACAF has chosen the Bermuda Football Association and Bermuda generally as the host for the very first in the series of regional Leadership Forums. The opportunity to celebrate 90 years of football under the auspices of the Bermuda Football Association on this occasion promises to be another great moment in football’s history here in Bermuda.
The Leadership Forum and the Anniversary Dinner will be held at the Fairmont Southampton Princess.
