Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates put their Boxing Day blues behind them with a hard-fought draw at The Den against Millwall.
In a game where they created enough opportunities to win but couldn't find the back of the net, they responded positively from the defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
Backed by 1,000-plus travelling City fans, Bristol City looked more than solid against a Millwall team with an impressive home record.
Wells replaced Tommy Conway after 69 minutes and he saw early action, putting Andreas Weimann clear but the Austrian shot wide and minutes later he put another shot just past the post from Kal Naismith’s free-kick which Antoine Semenyo flicked on.
