St Johnstone enquire about a loan move for West Ham United stopper Nathan Trott, they are looking for another goalkeeper after star man Zander Clark's departure at end of last season.
St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson is waiting to get the green light from West Ham to make his move for the player.
The 23-year-old spent last season on-loan at French club Nancy and is keen to secure regular game time at a club.
Trott has previously had a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon in the 2019/20 season.

Reggie Lambe and his Stowmarket teammates held the fort against a strong Colchester United side in the penultimate pre-season face off ending scoreless 0 - 0.
The game got off to a good start for The Old Gold and Blacks after a carefully worked build-up and some dexterous skill saw a Lambe shot curl just over the bar six minutes in.
Later in the match Stowmarket considered themselves unlucky not to convert, especially when a second chance at a delivery into the box from Lambe saw some appeals for handball, only to be waved away by the referee.
