The Bermuda Football Association Season got underway on Sunday with the playing of the Charity Cup match, which was followed by a Dudley Eve Double header.
In order to be able coach in the Senior Division, coaches must have a B License from the Bermuda Football Association and the deadline to obtain the license was August 31st.
Following the three matches that have been played www.islandstats.com requested an interview with the President of the Bermuda Football Association Mark Wade to get an update on what would appear to be unlicensed coaches on the sidelines.
Wade while addressing the said, “This decision was first brought up in a congress meeting back in 2016, it was agreed upon by the members and now we have gone cross the deadline.”
“The consequences of not having a licensed coach is a Club Fine and or a Forfeit of the match,” continued Wade.
“The chairman of competitions Shannon Burgess has been made aware of the possibilities and will have to deal with them whenever the committee decide what the course of action they will take once all the reports have been collected,” concluded Wade.
