Reggie Lambe and his Cambridge United teammates went down 3 - 0 away to Port Vale on the opening day of the Sky Bet League Two season.
A late first half free kick by Ricky Miller and a second half double from Tom Pope saw the Cambridge United leave Vale Park empty handed.
Danté Leverock and his JK Narva Trans teammates went down 2 - 1 at home to Paide in the Estonian Premier Division.
Dmitry Barkov gave JK Navra Trans the lead in the 23rd minute, but Paide equalized in the 45th minute through a Ander Ott Valge, Valge would score the winner in the 57th minute.
Referee Joel Bäckström was the focus of a controversial red card to Willie Clemons in the second half of a match, as Hudiksvall scored injury time equalizer in a 1 – 1 draw.
Bodens BK came out and started the game in a way that was rarely seen at the Boden Arena. Manpowered Hudiksvall was attacked by the opposing defense and led to several chances in the match lead. Clemons was first out with a position already in the third minute leading to a corner where Clemons got a new position, but Niclas Larsson in Hudiksvalls goal was in the way both times.
In the 9th minute Jack Serrant-Green gave Bodens BK the lead and they would take that advantage to the break.
Early in the second half, Bodens Clemons received a direct red card when he encountered Hudiksvalls Haris Camo's situation after Serrant-Green shortly took two hits without getting anything.
In spite of the expulsion, it seemed a long time that Bodens BK managed to clear the storm, but after 93 minutes Hudiksvall's Andreas Persson fired just inside the penalty area and the referee pointed right at the penalty spot. Hudiksvall's Pelle Lööf stepped up and scored to make it 1 - 1, which meant the season's eighth draw for Bodens BK.
