Djair Parfitt-Williams and his NJ Rudar Velenje teammates went down 3 – 1 to Maribor.
Marcos Tavares gave Maribor the lead in the 45th minute. The Maribor lead was doubled in the 59th minute when Tavares scored a second time. NJ Rudar Velenje pulled a goal back in the 75th minute when Jaka Bijol scored, but in the 83rd minute Luka Zahovic scored for Maribor to give them a 3 – 1 lead.
Parfitt-Williams had a blast that came close to pulling a goal back in the 87th minute.
