Southampton Rangers remain unbeaten this season as they advanced to the FA Challenge Cup Final defeating the Paget Lions 5-3 on Kicks from the Penalty Mark after the two teams finished deadlocked at 1 - 1 after 120 minutes of football.
The Paget Lions went ahead in the first half with a goal from Dion Stovell who outpaced the Southampton Rangers defense and calmly scored pass and advancing Southampton Rangers goalkeeper Ajai Daniels.
The Southampton Rangers would equalize in the second half when Donte Brangman scored from a free kick.
With neither team able to score a second goal in regulation or in Extra-Time, the match would be decided with the Kicks from the Penalty Mark.
Daniels was able to save the fourth kick from the Paget Lions and when Akale Bean scored the fifth penalty the Rangers unbeaten streak continued.
Robin Hood 0 (4) PHC Zebras 0 (3)
The second match was also decided by Sudden Death Kicks from the Penalty Mark that came to a close at 12:35am.
A penalty saved in the first half by Dale Eve kept the scoreline level at 0 – 0 diving to his right to deny Cecoy Robinson.
Neither team would beat the goalkeeper for the match nor the Extra-Time and they were still level after the five kicks needed a Sudden Death to get a winner with Robin Hood advancing.
