PREMIER DIVISION

Somerset Trojans 0 Dandy Town Hornets 2

The Somerset Trojans goalscoring drought has reached 450 minutes as they were defeated 2 - 0 by the Dandy Town Hornets at the Somerset Cricket Club.

The Somerset Trojans came close to scoring the opening goal, when a Justin Corday right footed shot hit the crossbar, but midway through the first half Ernest Trott gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead when the Somerset Trojans defence failed to clear the ball, following a header from player/coach Kwame Steede and Trott was onhand to score from close range.

The Dandy Town Hornets would then double their lead when Angelo Simmons found the back of the net in the second half giving the visitors the win and their first 3 points of the season.
