The Bermuda Futsal Federation has kicked off their 2017 Men’s Futsal League inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium, with 20 goals scored in a double header.
The first match between Flanagan's Onions II and PHC was a game much closer than the final score suggested as PHC won 10-5. At the half, PHC led 5 - 3 behind a hat trick by Cecoy Robinson. Flanagan's Vuk Panic scored 2 goals to keep the game competitive. Although in the second-half PHC scored another 5 goals to Flanagan's 2 to win the game, Flanagan's gave PHC a hard time throughout. PHC's Robinson was their MVP scoring 5 goals with Vun Panic the most outstanding for Flanagan's with 2 goals.
The second game between Flanagan's Onions I and C-Side was an entertaining one and despite the score line C-Side had difficulty controlling the game. At the half, C-Side led 2 goals to 0. In the second-half, C-Side would add another 2 goals to Flanagan's 1 to win 4 to 1. Flanagan's controlled large parts of the game but could not convert their chances.
