At the BAA Field in this FA Challenge Cup Replay match First Division outfit Southampton Rangers defeated Corona League team Butterfield & Vallis 2 - 1 to advance to face BAA at the same venue.
After a scoreless First Half the Southampton Rangers took the lead in the 71st minute when an attempted clearance from a Butterfield & Vallis defender hit teammate and rebounded into the back of the net. The lead was doubled in the 88th minute when second half substitute Kwame Tucker scored for the Southampton Rangers.
Butterfield & Vallis were not prepared to go without a fight, Marco Mato scored from a free kick in the 90th minute, but the Southampton Rangers were able to hold off the pressure to advance with the win.
