It was a Bermuda reunion as Ilkeston Football Club hosted Chesterfield Football Club, with the visitors winning 3 - 0.
Presently David Jones, Tevahn Tyrell and Jaylon Bather are on the Ilkeston books, while Rai Simons is in his second year at Chesterfield.
Tyrell started the match for Ilkeston, while Jones and Bather took their places on the bench as did Simons for Chesterfield.
Both sides moved the ball well early in the match, as the half wore on Ilkeston began to soak up a lot of pressure, largely playing on the counter but composed when in possession.
But at the half neither team had found the back of the net.
Two minutes into the second half and Chesterfield was able to break the deadlock, Evans done well in the box, forced a save from Hannis, Humphrey's pokes home the rebound.
Ched Evans doubled the Chesterfield lead in the 52nd minute and then three minutes later Jones replaced Tyrell, three minutes later Simons replaced Evans, Simons had a spell with Ilkeston prior to signing with Chesterfield.
Bather entered the game in the 66th minute making it three Bermudians on the field at the same time. In the 72nd minute it ame close to being 3 - 0 when Simons collected a good lofted ball, as th Ilkeston goalkeeper rushed out and Simons' lob went inches wide.
Chesterfield was 3 - 0 ahead in the 83rd minute when Jake Beesley found the back of the net.
