Rai Simons and his Chesterfield teammates will be going to an internationally-renowned training facility in Hungary this weekend as they head for a near week-long pre-season camp.
Following on from last season's successful trip to Portugal, this year Danny Wilson's men will travel to the facility near Budapest as they take the next step in their pre-season work-out.
As well as the training camp, the Hungarian stay also includes a friendly against Cypriot side Apollon Limassol, before they arrive back in the UK ahead of the match with Sheffield Wednesday on July 16th (1pm kick-off).
Manager Wilson spoke about the benefits of taking the squad away: "It's always good to get away and keep the training going, especially when you have new signings this helps them adapt to the club and get to know the other players - which is important going into a new season.
"We've chosen the trip carefully and we have a friendly game in there as well, so I'm sure that by the time we get back we'll be that much closer to where we need to be."
