Bermuda will kick off its participation in the 2 round of the Caribbean Cup competition on June 1st in French Guiana. The Bermuda Football Association announced the players and staff that will depart Bermuda on May 27th for a training camp in Fort Lauderdale before traveling to French Guiana on May 30th.
Bermuda defeated the same opponents in the First Round back on March 26th 2 – 1 at the National Sports Center.
Yet again Nahki Wells is not in the team, there has been no word on his injury which ruled him out of Huddersfield’s final game of the season with his coach saying he needed a rest.
The team will be led by Reggie Lambe, with new faces coming into the team from the Bermuda Caribbean Football Union Under 17 World Cup Qualifying team including Osagi Bascome, Kacy Butterfield and Jahkari Furbert, another new face in the team is James Pace.
The team also sees Shakir Smith joined alongside Willie Clemons getting call ups.
