Robin Hood are the FA Cup Champions

Dandy Town Hornets 0 Robin Hood 2

The Dandy Town Hornets would have departed the National Sports Center wondering what if, while Robin Hood walked away celebrating the FA Cup Trophy.

These two teams played two different styles of football in the first 45 minutes, with the Dandy Town Hornets attempting to go over the top, while Robin Hood looked to play through the channels, the best chance of the half fell to the feet of the League Leading goalscorer Angelo Simmons, but the Dandy town Hornets striker blasted his right footed shot from some seven yards out over the crossbar, but in the end the half came to an end scoreless.

The second saw a bit of the same, with Robin Hood looking just a little more aggressive and it paid off when a shot from Nathan Peskett was saved by Dandy Town Hornets goalkeeper Mikkail Crockwell and the ball fell into the path of former Dandy Town Hornets player Ereico Outerbridge who made no mistake in giving Robin Hood the lead 1-0 in the 61st minute.

The game was then put out of the Dandy Town Hornets reach in the 81st minute when substitute Shannon Burchall scored from close range. A long ball forward saw a dandy town Hornets defender think the ball was going into touch, but Antwan Russell kept the ball in and his cross was bundled over the line by Burchall.
