The Bermuda Football Association President Larry Mussenden, who is also running for the vacant position of CONCACAF President would not be enjoying these last few weeks in the lead up to the Elections.
Still yet to answer www.islandstats.som questions regarding the International match back on March 26th, Mussenden’s leadership has now come into question surrounding several things of late involving Football in Bermuda.
The latest would be the resignation of the Bermuda Football Association’s Competitions Committee Chairman Stephen Coddington.
Coddington informed clubs via email of his decision, this after criticism he and his Committee received following the decision this week to switch the rescheduled FA Challenge Cup Semi-Final matches from Somerset Cricket Club.
Coddington’s email to the clubs stated, “Thank you for expressing your thoughts on the fortitude and decision-making of the competitions committee.
“As chairperson I have done my level best to serve the footballing community over the past six years via this committee (and others).
“Clearly, it is the wish to have better direction. Therefore, with immediate effect I will resign from the competitions committee and as a result from the Bermuda Football Association’s Executive Committee.”
