The Bermuda National Football team went down 2 – 1 to Cuba in their Caribbean Cup First Round Qualifying match in Cuba playing at Pedro Marrero Stadium in Havana.

Cuba scored a goal in each half, with Bermuda substitute Jonte Smith scoring for Bermuda.
Cuba scored in the 28th minute when Daniel Luis Saez scored, Alberto Gomez doubled the Cuba lead in the 77th minute, with Smith scoring in injury time of the second half.
Bermuda played very disciplined and had chances as well. In the second half Bermuda was forced to make a substitution and with them being a man down Cuba countered and scored their second goal.
Bermuda pressed and pressed but couldn't get the equalizer.
