FA CHALLENGE CUP QUARTER-FINAL REPLAY

ROBIN HOOD 5 HAMILTON PARISH 1

At the BAA Field, three goals were scored in the first half and three goals were scored in the second as Robin Hood advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Bermuda Football Association’s FA Challenge Cup Draw.

When the final whistle blew Robin Hood had a 5 – 1 advanced. Nathan Peskett had scored two headers in the first half, while LeJuan Simmons scored from just outside the box to give Robin Hood a 3 – 0 half time lead.

The second half saw Simmons score twice to complete his hat-trick, while Macquille Walker scored the lone goal for Hamilton Parish.

PREMIER DIVISION

SOMERSET TROJANS 1 DEVONSHIRE COUGARS 2

The Devonshire Cougars traveled west to the Somerset Cricket Club to take on the defending champions Somerset Trojans and came away with a 2 – 1 victory.

The visiting Devonshire Cougars got goals from Kwame Steede and Machi Battersbee, while Dion Stovell scored from the penalty spot for the Somerset Trojans.

Both teams ended the game with ten-men as the Devonshire Cougars goalkeeper Kioshi Trott was dismissed for a bad tackle and was replaced by Ricardo Brangman, while Coolidge Durham was dismissed for the Somerset Trojans picking up his second yellow card.
