Parfitt-Williams on West Ham Bench & Lambe's Mansfield Draw

IslandStats.com
www.islandstats.com can confirm that Bermudian Djair Parfitt-Williams is expected to be on the bench for West Ham United this evening in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Replay with Liverpool at the Boleyn Ground.
Parfitt-Williams watched from the bench as Angelo Ogbonna struck in the last minute of extra time as West Ham secured a dramatic 2-1 FA Cup win over Liverpool.

The fourth-round replay was heading for a penalty shootout when center-half Ogbonna, thrust into attack as a final throw of the dice, headed in the winner.

West Ham can now look forward to a fifth-round trip to Blackburn after a youthful Liverpool side were eventually sent tumbling out.

Michail Antonio had given the hosts the lead, only for Philippe Coutinho to reply for the Reds just after half-time.

But Ogbonna made it an uncomfortable evening to be a losing manager, not least one who had had his appendix removed just three days earlier like Jurgen Klopp.

Sky Bet League Two

Reggie Lambe – Mansfield

Substitute Jack Thomas' last-gasp header earned Reggie Lambe and his promotion hopefuls Mansfield teammates a 2-2 draw at third-placed Oxford.

Danny Hylton struck twice for the hosts in a topsy-turvy Sky Bet League Two encounter at the Kassam Stadium.

And Hylton missed a great chance to claim a hat-trick and win the game in stoppage time, when he headed wide from a glorious position.

Mansfield had taken the lead in the 22nd minute when Matt Green returned to haunt his former club, heading home after goalkeeper Sam Slocombe failed to connect properly with a punch clear.

Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny played a key part in United's equalizer eight minutes later, with an overlap on the right and cross for Hylton to head home from seven yards.

Slocombe atoned for his earlier error with a brilliant one-handed save to turn James Baxendale's 18-yard drive around a post.

On 69 minutes, strong United pressure ended with Kemar Roofe nodding on Zeli Ismail's cross and Hylton rifling a shot off the underside of the bar.

And, after Oxford's Chris Maguire had struck the woodwork from a free-kick, Thomas nodded home after another Slocombe error, with the point gained lifting the Stags to fourth in the table.
