Leeds secured a fourth straight victory over Nahki Wells and his Huddersfield Town teammates and back-to-back wins for the first time this season to lift some of the gloom hanging over the club.
Mirco Antenucci and Chris Wood both struck in first-half stoppage time as Leeds seized the initiative at the end of an attritional first 45 minutes and Alex Mowatt crashed home a third goal nine minutes into the second period of a 3-0 triumph.

It took two goal-line clearances from Cameron Dummigan and a glaring miss from Reggie Lambe to ensure Oldham came away from Mansfield with a 0-0 draw and a replay from an entertaining Emirates FA Cup first-round tie at One Call Stadium.
Mansfield missed a golden chance in stoppage time as Lambe met a Craig Westcarr cross from the left with a volley five yards from goal that he failed to keep down.
