Djair Parfitt-Williams and his West Ham United Development teammates recorded their first win in convincing style defeating Wolves 4 - 0.
Enner Valencia opened the scoring on his return to action before goals from Manny Onariase, Marcus Browne and Martin Samuelsen completed the rout.
In the 7th minute, Enner Valencia was set free down the right-flank by a good ball from Parfitt-Williams, he shot forcefully and the Wolves goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt did well to parry it for a corner.
In the 33rd minute West Ham took the lead, Valencia, the Ecuadorean ran onto a lovely through-ball and made no mistake with the finish as he poked it past the onrushing Flatt.
One minute before the break, another promising attacking move for the hosts saw Knoyle breaks forward and set Parfitt-Williams on his way, although the angle was against him Parfitt-Williams hit it well, Flatt made a great save just as it looked like it was nestling in the top corner.
From the resulting corner Onarise charged through the wrecking ball and bundles the ball over the line in the 53rd minute to put West ham United ahead 2 – 0.
Four minutes later it was 3 – 0, Martin Samuelsen was brought down in the box, Elliot Lee stepped up but Flatt made the save, Browne was following up and rolled the ball home for his first goal for the Development Team.
It was then three goals in 12 minutes, as in the 65th minute West Ham United were awards a second penalty as Samuelsen was fouled once more. He took the spot kick himself and dispatched it with real power to make the score 4 - 0.
Parfitt-Williams came close to making it 5 – 0 in injury time when he beat his marker on the edge of the box, but his effort lacked any power.
