Jacob Butterfield lashed in a second-half equalizer to rescue a point for Nahki Wells and his Huddersfield Teammates as they drew 1-1 with Brighton at home.
Butterfield, subject to two rejected transfer bids by Derby, struck from a tight angle on 54 minutes after a corner was only half cleared.
Brighton - who were looking to extend their 100 per cent league record - dominated the first half, with Beram Kayal opening the scoring after just 17 seconds, but the hosts fought back after the break to earn their point.
Meanwhile Sean McConville scored the decisive goal to give Accrington their first victory of the season in a 1-0 win over Reggie Lambe and his Mansfield Teammates.
It was a bad-tempered game with ten yellow cards in total and a melee in the 91st minute had players pushing and shoving each other in angry scenes, although remarkably both sides finished with 11 players.
