On January 4th, the Bermuda Football Association announced a 55-man training squad to prepare for CONCACAF Qualifying for the 2018 World Cup. Among those players was 23-year-old, Dante Leverock, one of the Harrisburg City Islanders newest team members and biggest impact players of the 2015 season.
In the first round of 2018 World Cup Qualifiers Bermuda advanced to the next round after defeating Bahamas 8-0 with 3 goals from Nahki Wells, 2 from Justin Donawa, while Tyrell Burgess, Leverock and Zeiko Lewis all added a goal each.
Tomorrow the Bermuda National Team will face Guatemala in the first leg match of the second round of FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Guatemala at 11pm Bermuda time. The 2nd leg match will be played in Bermuda, at 7:30pm Bermuda time, on June 15th.
Prior to joining his Bermuda teammates in Miami before heading to Guatemala, Leverock helped his Harrisburg teammates finish off a commercial that has aired.
